Karsang is film based on typical Sherpa culture. Written and directed by Yam Sherpa, Karsang is story of Lopsang, his wife Dichhen and their only child Torme. Shot in a typical Sherpa village of Yarsa in Sindhupalchouk Karsang tells story about family bonding in cultural backdrop. It is a story of conflict between cultural tradition and family values.
Leading stars of film includes superstar Dayahang Rai, Jitu Nepal, Diya Maskey and Buddhi Tamang. Social media influencer and top model Srijana Nigleku will be debuting from this film. Dayahang is playing a Sherpa character for the first time in his professional career as Jeetu Nepal is in different role than the roles so far, he has portrayed.
